Good News!   Now it is a good opportunity to grab a special rate for combo ticket for $280! (priced reduced from $305) Don’t lose that great opportunity. The special rate is good until July 31, 2011.  Please spread the word to your friends!

It is hard to believe our DSA 2011 Chicago Conference is 5 - 6 months away! I am so excited to meet you all.

We have made a lot of progresses.  We will have 4 great performers coming to our DSA 2011 Conference pending   We are waiting for the contracts to be signed so that we can officially make an announcement.  Kindly visit our website: www.dsa2011-chicago.org for the latest updates.

We will make some changes in our tentative schedule once we get all the necessary information.  We guarantee you will enjoy every minute of our DSA 2011 Conference.     It will be announced on our website. There are some updates as follows:

For the first time in DSA Conference history, we established “Sports Luncheon” It will be on Sunday afternoon September 4, 2011. You can choose your favorite sport attire. (buffet). For those who love going to Red Hat Luncheon, it will be on Sunday afternoon, September 4, 2011. Do not forget to mail the check to Eileen Rozborski, our Food Planning Coordinator. Any questions, email her at foodplanning@dsa2011-chicago.org.

Baseball tickets for Chicago White Sox against Minnesota Twins (Wednesday afternoon, August 31, 2011 and Chicago Cubs against Pittsburgh Pirates (Friday afternoon, September 2, 2011) are now on sale until all sold. Tours Schedule   posted on our website now.  If you have any questions about the specific tours information, Our Tours Coordinators, Carol Ban and Debbie Verraros will be more than happy to answer your questions. Chicago is a great city to visit. You will love Chicago!!!

As for the workshops, Laura Thomas, who is a Workshop Coordinator, is very busy getting in touch with the interested presenters. Mindy Joy Mayer and Dricilla Ronchen have been working with the registrants with special needs to get all information so that they will make sure each registrant is provided with reasonable accommodation with special needs. It is very important for any DSA 2011 registrants who need special needs to contact Mindy Joy, Dricilla and Genevieve Bright, our registration coordinator immediately.  We try our best to meet the registrants’   needs.  The Special Needs form is found from the packets that were mailed out last October 2010.  If you do not have a form, please email Genevieve Bright to request for a special needs form (registration@dsa2011-chicago.org) and Mindy Joy and Dricilla at accessibility@dsa2011-chicago.org for further information.

I am sure you are aware that we will have our very first DSA’s Senior Bowl scheduled for Saturday evening, September 3, 2011.
